Background: Indiana’s legislation, along with some other states' legislation, requires a clear presentation of human growth and development during pregnancy that includes ultrasound videos.
Problem: There were not adequate video selections that met these changing state standards, were medically accurate, and were approved by a multidisciplinary team that includes OBGYN and maternal-fetal medicine, advanced practice nursing, pediatrics, social work, and health educators.
Solution: Create medically accurate videos to help schools satisfy statutory requirements around human growth and development education, which were written and approved by a multidisciplinary field of experts, and were accessible to educators.
